Since Thursday 22 June, 2006, the "Steer South!" expansion accommodates new residents. Five African Penguins, so far held in quarantine in NAUSICAÄ's reserves, joined their fellow creatures in the expansion. These newcomers are called Bisho, Jomo, Kiwi, Prat and Kelp, and all come from Doué-la-Fontaine's zoo, in the Loir-et-Cher French département. The family is therefore growing, and there are now 17 penguins in the expansion.
